Børge Ring Award 2014: "La Vie sans truc" af Anne-laure Daffis og Léo Marchand (FR)
Juryen sagde: "The Borge Ring Award this year goes to a silly, crazy, touching film that takes daunting pride in turning its back on classical mainstream animation principles. It does so in a charming and energetic manner which has us identifying with and feeling for its awkward antagonist. The story combines elements of realism, entertainment, poverty, politics, art, existential despair and, throughout it all, love. It then ties everything together in an unforgettable climax that will most likely raise some controversy... The Borge Ring Award goes to Anne-Laure Daffis' Life with No Tricks (La Vie sans Truc)."
De andre nominerede film til prisen var: "Pandas" af Matus Vizar (SVK) og "Vokseværk" af Tor Fruergaard (DK)
Special Mention 2014: "Vokseværk" af Tor Fruergaard
Juryen sagde: "A fresh, daring and touching variation on the timeless coming-of-age narrative, the recipient of Special Mention combines elements of horror, classic storytelling and young desire in a cocktail that almost certainly will find and charm a large audience. Playful animation combines hand drawings with a stylized cardboard-stop motion look which highlights both romantic and eerie atmospheres – Growing Pains (Vokseværk) demonstrates that Tor Fruergaard is no longer merely a promising talent; he is a skillful filmmaker on his way to big achievement."
Talent Award 2014: "Våbenbrødre" af Cav Bøgelund
Juryen sagde: "The Animation Talent Award goes to a straight-forward yet challenging story set in one of the most conflicted places imaginable. Animated docudramas are a rare sight, and this film boldly goes where few have ventured before. With amazing confidence, the storyline explores how trust easily can change to mistrust and paranoia. In doing so, it manages to push the audience to the edge of their seats. The Animation Talent Award goes to Cav Bøgelund’s Brothers in Arms (Våbenbrødre)."
De andre nominerede film til prisen var: "Børnestemmer" af Marie-Louise Højer Jensen (DK) og "Little Vulvah and her Clitoral Awareness" af Sara Koppel (DK).
